DHB boilers focus primarily on the biomass industry, converting fossil fuels into alternative energy sources such as corn husks, bagasse, palm fiber, wood or any other waste. Biomass is biological material derived from living or recently living organisms, usually referring to plants or plant-derived materials. As a renewable energy source, biomass can be used either directly or indirectly in a one-time basis or converted into another energy product, such as biofuel. Biomass can be converted to energy in three ways: thermal, chemical and biochemical conversion.
